Dr Iwona Zima — doktor nauk humanistycznych w zakresie historii. Dysertację o Aleksandrze Czołowskim obroniła w Instytucie Historycznym Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego. W kręgu jej zainteresowań badawczych znajdują się: losy Polaków w Galicji Wschodniej i we Lwowie końca XIX wieku i pierwszej połowy XX wieku, historia Lwowa, dzieje Galicji.

Novae Res – Innovative Publisher was set up in August, 2007 by Wojciech Gustowski and Krzysztof Szymański who won the 5th edition of Gdynia Businessplan contest with their project Novae Res. Since its founding, the publisher has been a partner of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia where its office is based.

We have named our publishing house ‘Novae Res’ which means a change, revolution, overthrowing the existing order. The name is meant to symbolise the incoming publishing revolution and thus is intended to define the character of the publisher, the aim of which is to combine tradition with modernity for the sake of the Polish book and readership. The word ‘innovative’ in the name symbolises our pioneering approach to the book as a product – we do not acquire best-selling licenses, but rather focus on promoting talented debutants.

We do not publish poetry.

Publishing your works with us, you can be certain that your opus will be professionally proofread and edited. Each and every work is unique and it needs an individual approach. We do not use ‘templates’ when working on the books. The overall form of the book depends on its content.
